Studies and Resources
In 2016 with the passing of the Pollinator Protection Act, Connecticut was a leader on neonicotinoid pesticide reform; however, in subsequent years, due to the state’s lack of data tracking neonicotinoid coated seeds and testing water for neonics, Connecticut fell behind. Neighboring states such as New York and Vermont, have required tracking of neonic use to inform pesticide decisions.
CPR is gathering and compiling studies, resources and data to share with Connecticut legislators, CT DEEP and other organizations that would like to become a partner.
